Thema dieser Arbeit ist die Entwicklung einer Methodik für das Requirements Engineering kontextsensitiver Anwendungen. Ein Rahmenwerk wird entwickelt, anhand dessen die relevanten Informationen über die Nutzungssituationen kontextsensitiver Anwendungen systematisch modelliert werden können. Grundlage hierfür ist eine Kategorisierung der Merkmale einer Nutzungssituation in die Bedürfnisse und Fähigkeiten der Nutzer, ihre durchgeführten Aktivitäten und die Gegebenheiten der Einsatzumgebung. Zwischen den Kategorien existieren Wechselwirkungen, die für die Situationscharakterisierung von Bedeutung sind. Die methodische Erarbeitung von Kontextinformationen aller Kategorien und deren Integration in ein umfassendes Kontextmodell ist ein Schwerpunkt der Arbeit. Anhand einer Kontext-Szenarioanalyse erfolgt eine iterative Erhebung der Anforderungen samt den jeweiligen Nutzungssituationen, die in Form von Kontextinformationen modelliert werden.     «

The main topic of this thesis is the development of a requirements engineering methodology for context-aware applications. A framework is developed to systematically model the relevant information about the usage situations of context-aware applications. The fundament of the framework is a categorization of the characteristics of a usage situation into needs and abilities of the users, their conducted activities and the environmental conditions. There are some interdependencies between the categories that may be relevant to the characterization of the usage situations. The methodological development of context information for each category and their integration into an extensive context model constitute an emphasis of the thesis. By means of an integrated context- and scenario-analysis, we iteratively develop the requirements of the application together with their respective usage situations in terms of context information.     «
