Das 30-Tage-Ergebnis der ISAR-REACT-Studie erbrachte keinen klinischen Vorteil durch Abciximab bei Patienten mit perkutaner Koronarimplantation und einer Gabe von 600mg Clopidogrel mindestens zwei Stunden vor dem Eingriff. Nachdem in einer Studie ein Überlebensvorteil durch Abciximab nach einem Jahr festgestellt werden konnte, wurde das Ein-Jahres-Ergebnis der ISAR-REACT-Studie untersucht. Abciximab erbrachte keinen klinischen Vorteil innerhalb eines Jahres nach koronarer Stentimplantation.

In the ISAR-REACT trial, the use of abciximab in patients undergoing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) after pretreatment with 600 mg clopidogrel for more than 2 hours was associated with no clinically measurable benefit at 30 days. As a study observed a survival benefit from abciximab at one year, we analyzed the follow-up at one year of the ISAR-REACT trial. There was no clinical benefit from Abciximab after coronary stent implantation at one year.
