Am Deutschen Herzzentrum München wurden im Betrachtungszeitraum Mai 1981 bis Januar 2004 171 Herztransplantationen bei 165 Patienten durchgeführt. Ziel dieser Arbeit war die retrospektive Aufarbeitung der präoperativen Vorbereitungsphase, der Spenderprofile und der unmittelbaren perioperativen sowie der kurz- und langfristigen postoperativen Ergebnisse. Es wurde gezeigt, dass am Deutschen Herzzentrum München ein mit internationalen und nationalen Zentren vergleichbares Patientenkollektiv behandelt wurde. Die Ergebnisse, insbesondere die Überlebensraten, entsprechen vergleichbaren Daten in der Literatur. Im Vorgehen bei Auswahl und Evaluation der Kandidaten, der Durchführung der operativen und postoperativen Phase sowie Spenderauswahl und Nachsorgemanagement zeigte sich eine übereinstimmende Vorgehensweise mit anderen Herztransplantationszentren.     «

171 heart transplantations at 165 patients were performed at the German Heart Centre Munich in the period of review between May 1981 and January 2004. The objective of this survey was the retrospective analysis of the preoperative period of preparation, of the donors’ profiles and of the immediate perioperative as well as of the shortterm and longterm postoperative results. It was shown that the group of the patients treated at the German Heart Centre Munich was comparable to those treated at international and national centres. The results especially the survival rates were in accordance with comparable data in the literature. An approach correspondent to other heart transplantation centres was chosen concerning the selection and evaluation of patients treated, the performance of the operative and postoperative period as well as regarding the selection of the donors and the management of aftercare.     «
