Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Beschreibung der Lebensqualität von Brustkarzinompatientinnen in der perioperativen Phase und der Vergleich dieser Ergebnisse mit Werten von Patientenkollektiven aus anderen Nationen und Kulturen. Es wurden insgesamt 606 Brustkrebspatientinnen mit dem EORTC-QLQ-C30 und dem Brustkrebsmodul BR-23 untersucht. Es zeigte sich, dass sich die Patientinnen in dieser frühen Krankheitsphase kaum in ihrer LQ beeinträchtigt fühlten. Das Alter, der berufliche Status und die Schulbildung wiesen einen statistisch signifikanten Zusammenhang mit der LQ auf. Der Ländervergleich ergab, dass die gefundenen Unterschiede weniger auf die unterschiedlichen kulturellen Bedingungen der Vergleichsgruppen, sondern eher auf den Zeitpunkt der Befragung zurückzuführen waren. Die Erforschung gesundheitsbezogener LQ und ihrer Determinanten sollte in allen Phasen des Krankheitsverlaufs erfolgen, um belastete Subgruppen zu identifizieren.     «

The goal of this work is the description of the quality of life of female patients with breast cancer during the perioperative phase, and the comparison of these results with values of patient collectives from other nations and cultures. In total, 606 breast cancer patients were interviewed by use of the EORTC-QLQ-C30 questionnaire and the breast cancer module BR-23 questionnaire. It was shown that, as far as LQ was concerned, female patients in this early disease phase hardly felt impaired. A statistically significant connection was exhibited between age, vocational status and education compared to LQ. Results of the land-based comparison showed that the differences found could be originated from the time of interview rather than from different cultural conditions of the compared groups. Study of health-referred LQ and their determinants should take place in all phases of the disease process in order to identify burdened subgroups.     «
