Abstract:
Enzyme Aldehyde Dehydrogenase 1 isoforms 1A1 and 1A3 co-localize in human stallite cells, the stem cell population of skeletal muscle. The molecular function of 1A1 and 1A3 in myogenesis remains indistict. This study shows, that isoforms 1A1 and 1A3 proteins are essential in myogenic differentiation, since 1A1 and 1A3 knockout cells lost the potential to differentiate. Recombinant re-expression of isoforms in knockout cells recovered differentiation. Chemical inhibition of enzymatic activity lea...     »

Re-epxression in Knockout Zellen stellt Differenzierung wieder her. Chemische ALDH Inhibition führt zu einer Akkumula...     »
