In der vorliegenden Arbeit wurde untersucht, ob 8-Isoprostaglandin F2α (8-iso-PGF2α) ähnlich wie beim Asthma bronchiale bei atopischen Hauterkrankungen einen Marker für oxidativen Stress darstellt. Im Rahmen der Untersuchung konnte eine signifikante Erhöhung von 8-iso-PGF2α im Urin bei Patienten mit atopischem Ekzem und ganzjähriger allergischer Rhinitis sowie bei weiblichem Geschlecht und Zigarettenkonsum nachgewiesen werden.

This paper examines if 8-Isoprostaglandin F2α (8-iso-PGF2α) is a marker for oxidative stress, similar to its effect with asthma bronchiale with atopic skin disease. During the study a significant rise of urinary 8-iso-PGF2α level could be observed in patients suffering from atopic dermatitis and chronic allergic rhinitis as well as in female patients and smokers.
