Abstract:
ADAM15 overexpressing ovarian cancer cells show a significantly reduced adhesion to the ECM protein vitronectin in an RGD-integrin alpha-v-beta-3-dependent manner. The proliferative activity of the ovarian cancer cells remains unaffected. ADAM15 could thus function as a naturally occurring integrin alpha-v-beta-3 antagonist
