- The thesis examines star architecture projects, and their effects on medium-sized cities. On the basis of three case studies, the effects of star architecture projects are examined in this thesis, in respect of their genesis, temporal and spatial aspects, thus offering an important contribution to understanding its effects on urban development.

- Die Dissertation untersucht Stararchitekturprojekte und ihre Effekte auf mittelgroße Städte. Anhand von drei Fallstudien werden in dieser Dissertation die Effekte von Stararchitekturprojekten in Bezug auf ihre Genese, ihre zeitlichen und räumlichen Aspekte untersucht. Die Arbeit leistet damit einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Verständnis der Effekte von Stararchitektur auf die Stadtentwicklung
