- Ziel dieser Dissertation war es, den Einfluss von Antipsychotika auf die Herzfrequenz zu untersuchen. Hierzu wurden mittels einer systematischen Literatursuche 73 Studien mit 14.857 Patienten identifiziert, welche mithilfe einer Metaanalyse bezüglich der Outcomes Bradykardie, Tachykardie und andere Rhythmusstörungen zusammengefassten und analysiert wurden. Als Hauptergebnis zeigte sich ein erhöhtes Tachykardierisiko für Antipsychotika im Vergleich mit Placebo (RR=1,80, p<0,0001).

- This dissertation analyzes the impact of antipsychotics on the heart rate. A systematic literature search literature identified 73 studies with a total of 14.857 patients. A meta-analysis of the effects of antipsychotics on bradycardia, tachycardia and “other dysrhythmias”. As main result, a high risk of tachycardia for antipsychotics compared to placebo treatment was revealed (RR=1,80, p<0,0001).
