- Abstract:
- The main tasks of wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are data gathering and forwarding. Concepts for adapting the Internet Protocol Flow Information Export (IPFIX) protocol to the needs of WSNs have been investigated, resulting in the development of the protocol TinyIPFIX with extensions for compression, aggregation functionality and secure data transmission support. For validation, a system has been realized supporting WSN configuration, as well as visualisation of WSN status and collected data.

- Die Hauptaufgaben von Sensornetzen sind Datensammlung und Weiterleitung. Es wurden Konzepte entwickelt zur Adaptierung des „Internet Protocol Flow Information Export“ (IPFIX) Protokolls. Das resultierende TinyIPFIX Protokoll unterstützt Kompressionstechniken, Aggregation und sichere Datenübertragung innerhalb von Sensornetzen. Zu Evaluationszwecken wurde ein System etabliert, das die Konfiguration von Netzwerkkomponenten unterstützt, sowie den Netzwerkstatus und die Daten visualisiert.
