A method of calculating the movement of arbitrary formed rigid bodies in fluids is presented. A point model with Langrange interaction and a volume model based on momentum forces are used. The models were applied on the simulation of fish passage through a Kaplan-turbine, based on a numerical calculated solution of the fluid flow. Both the fluid flow and the tracks were examined on the risk of fish passing the turbine. Two alternative suggestions to improve a turbine were presented.
