Analytical flux linkage approximation prototypes for reluctance synchronous machines
This paper proposes mathematical functions as analytical flux linkage approximations for nonlinear reluctance synchronous machines with significant self- and cross-saturation effects. The nonlinear flux linkage approximations for both axes are designed with function prototypes according to saturation trends of the flux maps. The proposed approximating functions are continuous and achieve a good fitting with small approximation errors over the whole operation range; as measurement results show.
