Abstract:
This paper presents an improved type-2 phaselocked loop-based sliding mode observer for sensorless control of surface-mounted permanent-magnet synchronous machines (SPMSM) to achieve accurate speed and position estimation. A phase-locked loop (PLL) scheme is widely adopted in sensorless control due to its simple structure.
