Abstract:: In the joint seminar “High Performance Computing: Current Trends and Developments” students worked on recent publications and research in HPC technologies. New developments and trends in both hardware and software have been discovered and discussed. The seminar features a technical committee of active HPC researchers from Technical University of Munich, Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich, and various industry partners. Eight students participated in the seminar and submitted a peer-reviewed seminar paper. An academic conference, in which the students present their work in a 30-minute talk, was held at Abtei Frauenwörth on the island of Frauenchiemsee in January 2018. «
