Description:
Can-annular combustors exhibit a small gap in front of the turbine that allows acoustic communication between neighbouring cans. The dataset contains the equivalent reflection coefficients obtained with FEM Helmholtz simulations performed with COMSOL Multiphysics. For each azimuthal order, and for each geometrical configuration, the absolute value and the phase response of the gap is given as a function of frequency.
Method of data assessment:
The dataset was generated using COMSOL Multiphysics to solve the Helmholtz equation with FEM. Details are given in Fournier, Guillaume J. J., Max Meindl, Camilo F. Silva, Giulio Ghirardo, Mirko R.
