Abstract:: Der Umgang mit Multiplen Externen Repräsentationen (MER) ist eine zentrale Fähigkeit im naturwissenschaftlichen Unterricht und ein konstituierendes Merkmal fachsprachlicher Kompetenz. Die Integration, d.h. die Übersetzungsleistung zwischen verschiedenen Repräsentationen, stellt für Lernende eine Herausforderung dar. Anhand eines Kompetenzmodells zum Umgang mit MER, speziell zur Text-Bild-Integration, wird untersucht, inwieweit biologiespezifisches Wissen in verschiedenen Kontexten und für unterschiedliche Bildtypen einen Einfluss hat. «
