Abstract:
Diese Metaanalyse untersucht, inwieweit Antipsychotika das soziale Funktionsniveau bei Schizophrenie-Patienten verbessern. Verglichen wurden hierbei Antipsychotika miteinander und mit Placebo-Gabe. Die medikamentöse Therapie war der Placebo-Gabe statistisch signifikant überlegen. Außerdem waren Antipsychotika der zweiten Generation denen der ersten Generation überlegen. In den Vergleichen der einzelnen Medikamente miteinander ergab sich für Amisulprid eine statistisch signifikante Überlegenheit.

This meta-analysis examines the extent to which antipsychotics improve the social functioning in schizophrenic patients by comparing drug response to antipsychotic therapy vs placebo. Therapeutic Intervention was statistically significantly superior to placebo, and second generation antipsychotics were superior over first Generation antipsychotics drugs. Overall, amisulpride had better outcomes for social functioning compared to all other drugs.
