- Untersuchungen von Nabenstrukturen an deckbandlosen Statoren von Hochdruckaxialverdichtern werden durchgeführt. Ihr strömungsmechanischer Einfluss auf das Verdichterbetriebsverhalten wird analysiert und Verlustmechanismen identifiziert. - Investigations of hub treatments in cantilevered stators of high pressure axial compressors are performed. Their aerodynamic effect on the compressor operating behavior is analyzed and loss mechanisms are identified. It is concluded, that hub treatments are able to increase the total pressure rise within the machine and to improve the downstream flow situation in adjacent rows.
