Title:
Atomic structure of Cu(111) surfaces in dilute sulfuric acid solution
Abstract:
The whole range of processes occurring at a single crystal Cu(111) electrode in a sulfuric acid electrolyte (5 mM H2SO4) between hydrogen evolution and copper dissoln. has been studied using a combination of Cyclic Voltammetry (CV), in situ Scanning Tunneling Microscopy (STM), and in situ Fourier Transform IR Spectroscopy (FTIR) as well as ex situ characterization by means of Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES), XPS and LEED (LEED). In particular, in situ STM measurements with at. resoln., carried...     »
