- Bei 1353 Patienten nach radikaler retropubischer Prostatektomie wurden in Abhängigkeit von Prostatavolumen und IPSS retrospektiv die peri- und postoperativen Komplikationen sowie prospektiv die Kontinenz und Potenz untersucht. Die Komplikationsrate war unabhängig vom P-Volumen und IPSS. Patienten mit benignen Prostatasymptomen zeigten eine um 14% geringere Kontinenzrate nach 12 Monaten und eine um 25% geringere Potenzrate nach 24 Monaten.

- 1353 patients after radical retropubic prostatectomy have been analyzed retrospectively for peri- and postoperative complications and prospectively for continence and potency depending on prostate volume and preoperative IPS-Score. The complication rate was not affected by prostate volume or IPS-Score. Patients with benign prostate symptoms preoperatively had a 14% lower continence rate after 12 months and a 25% lower potency rate after 24 months.
