Abstract:
The high prevalence of atherosclerosis and the corresponding derived morbidity drives the investigation of novel imaging tools for disease diagnosis and assessment. Multi-spectral optoacoustic tomography (MSOT) can resolve structural, hemodynamic and molecular parameters that relate to cardiovascular disease.
