Die vorliegende Dissertationsarbeit sollte untersuchen, ob der ASI (= αSMA / Kollagen) die Pankreasstiffness objektiv widerspiegeln und somit eine Pankreasfistel nach erfolgter Pankreasresektion voraussagen kann. Ausgewertet wurden die histomorphologischen Schnitte und klinischen Daten von 205 Patienten mit einer Pankreaslinksresektion. Hier zeigte sich, dass der ASI weder die Pankreasfistel noch die Fistelgraduierung voraussagen kann. Allerdings neigten Patienten mit niedrigerer αSMA-Aktivität vermehrt zu einer postoperativen Fistelbildung.      «

The doctoral thesis aimed to demonstrate whether the ASI (= αSMA / collagen) is able to objectively characterize the pancreatic stiffness and with this predict pancreatic fistula formation after pancreatic resection. For this, we evaluated the histopathological sections and clinical data of 205 patients with pancreatic-left resection. Here, we could demonstrate that ASI is neither able to predict a pancreatic fistula nor its graduation. However patients with lower αSMA-Activity tended to develop more postoperative pancreatic fistula.     «
