- Abstract:
- Die vorliegende retrospektive Studie befasst sich mit insgesamt 265 Patienten, die unter Verwendung von PEEK-Cages und ohne zusätzliche Verplattung zwischen 2007 und 2010 von anterior dekomprimiert und fusioniert wurden. Die Kontrolluntersuchung fand mindestens 12 Monate nach dem Eingriff statt. Mono- und bisegmentale ACDF-Operationen lieferten sehr gute Fusionsraten. Eine nicht erfolgte Fusion blieb meistens asymptomatisch. Das klinische Ergebnis war mehr als zufriedenstellend.

- This is a retrospective review of a consecutive patient cohort (265) that underwent ACDF with stand-alone empty PEEK cages between 2007 and 2010 with a minimum follow-up of 12 months. One- and two-level ACDFs achieved very high fusion rates and a low rate of follow-up operations. The rate of good clinical outcome is highly satisfactory.
