Building Information Modeling (BIM) means that all information of a building, which are needed for subsequent processes, are available in a central building model. In recent decades, not only the computer technology has developed rapidly, but also the different ways of application.Allplan is one of the leading systems in the BIM sector and provides with its models already all the relevant information, which are necessary for creating a pedestrian simulation.One of the substantial challenges represents the transfer of the model in the pedestrian simulation software and following the repatriation of the results obtained to the planner.The object of this bachelor thesis is to show the current possibilities of BIM software, in particular the transfer of a BIM model from Allplan into the pedestrian simulation software VISWALK by PTV and the communication possibilities to transmit the obtained data as consistent as possible back to the planner.     «
