The presented tri-axis transfer press has a nominal press tonnage of 12,000 kN distributed over 4 tool stations. The output of parts amounts to maximum 30 workpieces/min. The blank loading is automated, the stacking operation of parts can also be automated. Tool change is made by means of sliding bolsters, ensuring short changeover times and a high availability of the machine. One may expect, therefore, an increasing utilization of tri-axis transfer presses in medium-sized industrial plants in the years to come, too.     «
