Abstract:
Ziel der Studie war es, eine gute visuelle Rehabilitation mit Monovision oder trifokalen Intraokularlinsen nachzuweisen. Patienten mit Monovision (n=52) erreichen in der Ferne und Nähe einen hohen binokularen unkorrigierten Visus. Patienten mit trifokalen Intraokularlinsen (n=17) erreichen in der Ferne, im intermediären Bereich und in der Nähe einen hohen monokularen und binokularen unkorrigierten Visus. Eine hohe Brillenunabhängigkeit und Zufriedenheit zeichnet beide Gruppen aus.

The results of visual rehabilitation with monovision or implantation of a trifocal intraocular lens were evaluated. Patients with monovision (n=52) achieved very high binocular visual acuity without correction in far and near distance. Patients with trifocal intraocular lenses (n=17) achieved monocular and binocular very high visual acuity without correction for far, intermediate and near distance. High degree of spectacle independence and satisfaction was registered in both groups.
