- Abstract:
- This thesis contributes to the development of algorithms for the simulation of quantum systems. We particularly focus on quantum many-body systems and consider their simulation on classical computers by means of Tensor Network States as well as on quantum simulators based on ultracold atoms in optical lattices.

- Diese Doktorarbeit trägt zu der Entwicklung von Algorithmen zur Simulation von Quantensystemen bei. Wir konzentrieren uns besonders auf Quanten-Vielteilchensysteme und betrachten ihre Simulation sowohl auf klassischen Computern mittels Tensornetzwerkzuständen als auch auf Quantensimulatoren basierend auf ultrakalten Atomen in optischen Gittern.
