- Diese Arbeit betrachtet zum ersten Mal differenziert die initiale Phase der neuralen Invasion im Pankreaskarzinom. Mit Hilfe eines neu entwickelten Verfahrens konnten gezeigt werden, dass Pankreaskarzinomzellen spezifisch in Richtung Nerven migrieren. Gleichzeitig kam es zu einer Aktivierung von Gliazellen, die daraufhin ebenfalls eine aktive Migration in Richtung Tumor zeigten. - In this study we investigated for the first time the initial phase of the neural invasion in pancreatic cancer. Due to a newly developed migrationassay we were able to identify a specific migratory behavior of pancreatic cancer cells towards nerves. Peripheral glia cells underwent morphologic changes when cocultured with pancreatic cancer cells and showed an even more specific migration in their direction.
