- Patienten mit Leberzirrhose stellen ein Hochrisikokollektiv für herzchirurgische Eingriffe dar. Ziel der Studie war es, den postoperativen und langfristigen Verlauf von 47 Patienten mit Leberzirrhose zu analysieren und mit einem propensity-score pair-matched Kontrollkollektiv ohne Leberzirrhose zu vergleichen. Wir kamen zu dem Ergebnis, dass der herzchirurgische Eingriff bei Patienten im Child-Pugh-Stadium A sicher, bei denen im Child-Pugh-Stadium B nur mit hohem Risiko durchgeführt werden kann.

- Patients with cirrhosis of the liver represent a high-risk collective undergoing cardiac surgery. Aim of the study was to analyse the postoperative and the long-term development of 47 patients with cirrhosis of the liver and to compare them to a propensity-score pair-matched control group without cirrhosis of the liver. We conclude, that patients classified to Child-Pugh-Stadium A can safely be operated on, patients classified to Child-Pugh-Stadium B can undergo cardiac surgery under high risk.
