Es handelt sich um eine retrospektive Langzeituntersuchung (10 Jahre) von Patienten mit nichttraumatischer Hüftkopfnekrose.Es konnten 39 operierte Hüften ausgewertet werden.25 von 39 Hüften (64%) mussten letztlich durch eine TEP ersetzt werden. Bei 14 Hüften (35%) konnte die Implantation einer TEP vermieden werden. Die Arbeit vergleicht die Ergebnisse der Methode der elektromagnetischen Stimulation mit den Nachuntersuchungen anderer Autoren,die gleiche Operationsmethoden allein oder kombiniert angewandt haben.Dabei zeigt sich,daß die Ergebnisse im mittleren Bereich vergleichbarer Studien liegen.     «

This is a long term follow-up study (10 years) about patients with non traumatic osteonecrosis of the hip.39 operated hips could be evaluated. 25 out of 39 hips (64%) had to be replaced by total hip replacement.On 14 hips (35%) a total hip replacement could be avoided.The findings resulting from the electromagnetic-stimulation method are compared to other author's follow-up-results.These authors had adopted different operation-methods,either in a single or combined way.This reveals that the results can be found in an average area to comparable studies.     «
