Abstract:
Anhand von 551 Patienten, die sich einer radikalen retropubischen Prostatektomie unterzogen wurden retrospektiv operationsassoziierte Komplikationen und prospektiv Kontinenz, Potenz und progressionsfreies Überleben ermittelt. Die Komplikationsrate lag bei 41,6%, die optimale Kontinenzrate nach 6 Monaten bei 92,6%, die optimale Potenzrate nach 36 Monaten bei 42,6% und das progressionsfreie Überleben nach 3 Jahren bei 92%. Die Chefarzt-Patienten wiesen in allen Bereichen bessere Ergebnisse auf.
Translated abstract:
We evaluated in a series of 551 patients treated with radical retropubic prostatectomy surgery-associated complications, recovery of erectile function, urinary continence and cancer progression free survival. The overall complication rate was 41,6%. Recovery of urinary continence occured in 92,6% after 12 months, adequate erectile function occured in 41,6% after 36 months and the cancer-free survival after 3 years was 92%. Patients treated by a high volume suegeon showed better results.
