- Trotz verbesserter Behandelbarkeit und verringerten Forschungsaktivitäten spielen psychosoziale Belastungsfaktoren im klinischen Alltag der HIV-Erkrankung nach wie vor eine wichtige Rolle. Anhand standardisierter Fragebögen wurde die Prävalenz psychischer Veränderungen in einer HIV-positiven homosexuellen Kohorte (N=167) erfasst, wobei sich eine im Vergleich zur Allgemeinbevölkerung überdurchschnittliche Belastung zeigte.
- Translated abstract:
- Despite improved treatment possibilities and less scientific activities in this field, psychosocial distress is important for the daily life of HIV-infected patients. We analyzed the prevalence of psychological impairment in a HIV-positive and homosexual population (N = 167) with standardized questionnaires. In comparison to a healthy population psychological distress was high above average.
