In this paper it is shown that especially in lightweight materials, the standardized method according to ISO 12004-2 may have weaknesses, so there may be differences between simulation results and real forming processes. The different approaches to determine the FLC are compared. In particular focus is the temporal evaluation strategies that are currently discussed in the framework of the working group "FLC expansion ISO 12004".     «
