- The demand for mobile communication services drives the development of new technologies and increases network management complexity. The vision of Self-Organizing Networks (SON) aims at reducing the management complexity without loss of service quality through automation based on SON functions. The presented concept of a SON coordinator allows to prevent negative effects of concurrently executed conflicting SON-functions.

- Mit der anwachsenden Nutzung mobiler Kommunikationsdienste werden regelmäßig neue Technologien eingeführt, was zu einer stark steigenden Managementkomplexität führt. Das Konzept Self-Organizing Networks (SON) setzt auf die Automatisierung des Netzbetriebes durch den Einsatz autonom agierender SON-Funktionen. Mit dem vorgestellte Konzept zur Koordination von SON-Funktionen lassen sich auch konfliktbehaftete SON-Funktionen parallel ausführen.
