Abstract:
Die gastroösophageale Refluxkrankheit beeinträchtigt die Lebensqualität der Patienten und nicht alle sprechen auf die Standardtherapie mit Protonenpumpeninhibitoren (PPI) an. Die Symptome werden auch mit heterotopen Magenschleimhautinseln im zervikalen Ösophagus in Verbindung gebracht. Translated abstract:
Not all patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease respond to the standard therapy with proton pump inhibitors (PPI). The atypical symptoms of chronic globus sensation and sore throat are considered to be associated with heterotopic gastric mucosa of the cervical esophagus. Ablation of this mucosa in ten patients by Argon plasma coagulation and without applying PPI therapy alleviated the atypical symptoms significantly.
