Die Wertigkeit der anorektalen Manometrie in der Diagnostik der Stuhlinkontinenz ist ein in der Literatur kontrovers diskutiertes Thema. Eine Analyse der Untersuchungsergebnisse von 573 inkontinenten und 144 kontinenten Personen sollte zur Klärung dieser Frage dienen. Die Werte wiesen einen signifikanten Unterschied zwischen den beiden Gruppen auf. Die Sensitivität der anorektalen Manometrie konnte mit sehr gut bewertet werden. Die Spezifität hingegen war mäßig. Im Rahmen der Arbeit wurde erstmals ein Inkontinenz-Score entwickelt, der eine Kombination aus den vier verschiedenen Parametern der anorektalen Manometrie darstellt. Anhand dieses Scores war es möglich, zufriedenstellend genau zwischen inkontinent und kontinent zu differenzieren.     «

The value of anorectal manometry in the diagnosis of fecal incontinence is a controversially discussed topic in literature. An analysis of the test results of 573 incontinent and 144 continent persons should serve to clarify this question. The results of the research showed a significant difference between the two groups. The sensitivity of anorectal manometry was rated as very good. The specificity, however, was moderate. In the framework of this thesis an Incontinence-Score was developed that is a combination of the four parameters of anorectal manometry. Based on this score, it was possible to differentiate satisfactorily between continent and incontinent individuals.     «
