Die sogenannte Configuration Management Database (CMDB) stellt dem IT-Service-Management (ITSM) innerhalb einer einzelnen Organisation bedarfsgerecht essenzielle Informationen zu Ressourcen, Diensten, Prozessen u. dgl. bereit. In jüngster Zeit werden jedoch aufgrund der Nutzung von Synergieeffekten IT-Dienstleistungen immer häufiger im Rahmen von organisationsübergreifenden Dienstleisterkooperationen angeboten. Solche neuen institutionellen Strukturen erfordern allerdings auch neue Lösungen im nun interorganisationalen ITSM. Diese Arbeit liefert hierzu auf Basis einer MDA-Modellierung ein Konzept zur Erstellung eines Referenzmodells für eine interorganisationale CMDB (ioCMDB). Grundlage hierfür sind umfassende Analysen der aus organisationsübergreifenden Einsatzszenarien resultierenden CMDB-Werkzeuganforderungen. Das Ergebnis dieser Arbeit trägt dazu bei, dass ähnlich strukturierte Organisationsverbünde eine Grundlage zur Erstellung und Anpassung einer eigenen ioCMDB zur effizienten Unterstützung ihres interorganisationalen ITSM haben. Eine solche Anwendung wird durch das Aufstellen expliziter Handlungsanweisungen unterstützt.     «

Within the discipline of IT Service Management (ITSM), the so-called Configuration Management Database (CMDB) provides essential information within the bounds of a single organization. However, IT services are recently increasingly being offered as part of inter-organizational IT provider collaborations in order to capitalize on synergy effects. Such new institutional structures also require new solutions for inter-organizational ITSM. For this purpose, this thesis offers a concept for a reference model of an inter-organizational CMDB (ioCMDB) based on a MDA modeling approach. This result is based on the comprehensive analysis of the CMDB tool requirements within collaborative service provider scenarios. Consequently, this work contributes to the particular creation and adaption of a customized ioCMDB within similarly structured organizational networks and therefore providing an instrument to efficiently support inter-organizational ITSM. Such an application is supported by providing explicit instructional guidelines.     «
