Translated abstract:
The objectives of this study were to provide retrospective review of our living donor kidney transplantation series and analysis of graft survival prognostic factors.
The creatinine bood levels of 222 Patients, who underwent a living donor kidney transplantation from 1987 to 2008 were reviewed 1, 3, 6, 12, 24 and 60 months after transplantation and taken as indicator for transplant function using Univariat Analysis and linear Regression Analysis.
Donor mean age was 53,61 years, recipient mean age 40,72 years, 58,8% of donors were women, 65,3% were related. Initial kidney failure was due to Glomerulonephritis in 40%, du to inherited kidney disease in 26.5%.
Non significant variables were recipient related: Blood Type Compatibility, Age, Dialysis prior to transplantation, CMV state; and donor related: Creatinine prior to organ donation, CMV state.
Significant prognostic factors (p<0.005) were recipient related: Gender, Obesity (BMI > 29,5), Diabetes mellitus (I, II) prior & posttransplant (NODM); donor related: Age; and
Transplant related: Ischemia due to surgical or other postoperative complications, Rejection episode during the first year, Human polyomavirus BKV Infection, Recurrent disease, Retransplantation.
After a follow up duration of 1, 3, 6, 12 and 60 Months of 222 living donor transplantations
(1987-2008) we succeeded in finding severals donor, recipient and transplant related prognostic factors for living kidney donations.
